Academic Collaboration Agreement
FMT and University of Cyprus sign a Technology and Academic Collaboration agreement
The collaboration agreement was signed on 4th October 2011 by FMT's CEO, Kostas Siourthas and the University's Head of the Computer Science Department, Dr. Marios Dikaiakos, in the presence of the University's Vice-Rector and representatives from the Australian High Commission, the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) and from local and international leading companies, including JCC, inteli-scape, IBM and KPMG.
The primary objectives of this collaboration are to establish an academic thread for the training of University graduates in FMT's Application Mediation concept and technology platform, to conduct joint research and innovation programs and to collaborate on commercial opportunities.
FMT in Cyprus is presently hiring, considering 2012 internships and will be hosting an "Introduction to Entrepreneurship" session exclusively for UCy students.
